The VivanaFem newsletter

One topic a week, sources included

One email: one symptom explained, what the studies really show, and three concrete steps to try. Nothing else, and a one-click unsubscribe. Issues are currently written in French; an English edition is in the works, and subscribers from this page will be the first to receive it.

What you receive, concretely

One symptom, explained

Not ten topics skimmed over: a single one, covered at enough length for you to understand what is happening in your body and why.

What the studies really say

The numbers, with their PubMed reference, and above all their limits. When a study does not prove what it is made to say, we write it.

Three steps to try

Doable this week, with no purchase, no subscription and no miracle supplement. If nothing solid exists, we say that too.

Topics already covered (in French)

  1. The 3 a.m. wake-up: why it happens, and what really works (sleep in perimenopause).
  2. The fatigue that gets dismissed: the causes worth checking before saying "it's hormonal" (fatigue in perimenopause).
  3. Hormone therapy after the WHI study: what the 18-year follow-up showed (MHT, benefits and risks).
  4. Brain fog: a measured phenomenon, and most often transient (brain fog).

Who writes it, and how

The newsletter is written in French by Bouchra, editorial lead of VivanaFem, following the same rules as the site's articles: every figure links to a source you can consult, the limits of the studies are stated, and corrections are dated. Our editorial method details all of this, and our About page says who we are.

Frequently asked questions

How often does the newsletter go out?

Once a week, on Wednesday. Never more, and no advertising email between two issues. Issues are currently written in French; subscribers from the English pages join a dedicated list and will be the first to receive the English edition.

Is the free guide really free?

Yes. The perimenopause logbook, 19 pages (in French), can be downloaded as soon as you sign up, with no payment and no credit card.

What do you do with my email address?

It is used only to send you the newsletter. It is never sold, rented or passed on to a third party for advertising purposes. The details are in our privacy policy.

How do I unsubscribe?

In one click, from the link at the bottom of every issue. No questions asked, no follow-up email.

Does the newsletter replace medical advice?

No. It is informational and educational. It makes no diagnosis and recommends no personal treatment: those decisions are made with a healthcare professional who knows your history.
